This single malt was distilled at Miltonduff in 1968 and bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail, for their Rare Vintage range. The nose is incredibly complex, showing notes of cooked and dried fruits, oranges, jam, raisins, acacia honey, spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, plums, prunes and figs. The palate is equally multi-dimensional, boasting liquorice, menthol, dried fruits, coffee, toffee, milk chocolate, and herbs such as thyme and rosemary.
